Nokia Open Lab 2008 Bound
Blog
This evening I am off to Nokia Open Lab 2008 (Nokia Open Lab public wiki, my Open Lab 2008 blog post) until Saturday. It's an all expense paid conference on the future of mobile with bloggers, artists and social media folks in Helsinki, Finland.
I look forward to contributing to the discussion and hope to thrown in some of my many thoughts about future devices like my dream gadget N999, anytime, anywhere, anyplace and to catch up with old friends like Eddie Codel and Micki Krimmel and meet in "real-space" virtual friends like Stefan, Carol and a whole host of others! And of course Drupal, Drupal, Drupal since the SIFT tool (SMS, photo and video, microblog and other media "social media aggregator") will be a topic that I will bring up, as well as a small Drupal Meetup in Helsinki on the evening of September the 17th or the morning of the 18th
And of course go cycling around Helsinki and buy gadgets at the Nokia Flagship Store in Helsinki!
How to support Mobile Content Creation in Drupal

I wrote up a summary on the Bryght public wiki that is specific to Drupal sites like Now Public but generally applies to any website.
Here's an excerpt from: my wiki page (it's a wiki page, so feel free to update my typos and add other cool Drupal suggestions and modules!), How to Support Mobile Content Creation in Drupal:
QUOTE
The general rule should be to provide as many roads to Drupal as possible! The base technology (i.e. protocols like email, MetaWeblogAPI and Atom Publishing Protocol) are relatively "easy", getting something usable and useful on the mobile device is the hard part.
