5 minute video cast with DaveO about RCS happenings: Facebook, Shanghai Drupal Group, etc
BlogLast Thursday, Dave and I video chatted live to the Internet from my Nokia N95 on the way to Ezogiku for some fine Ramen about the following topics
- What is a tuque?
- Some busker sax doodlings at Water and Abbott
- Boris' talk at Web Directions North 2008 - three Stages of Dynamic Systems
- Roland's rant about watermarks and other attempts to protect / brand / watermark media on the web (summary: it's not helpful and doesn't help in the long run, if you are that paranoid don't put your stuff on the internet)
- Lead Developer Francis is on his way to our rapidly expanding Shanghai office
- The very successful Shanghai Drupal User Group Meetup which happened recently and featured Alex, Xiong, Makara and others from RCS Shanghai (photos)
- Running into cool Something Simpler people
- HTCE dialogue with Rob Cottingham and Kris last Monday
- Peter's upcoming blog post about the second Vancouver Facebook Developer Garage
- Content Convergence & Integration Conference that Kris and Boris will be speaking at in March

HTCE - "What Citizen Journalism Means to Corporate Communications" Wrapup
Blog[Cross posted from rolandtanglao.com. I may be biased, but there's definitely a trend of Citizen Journalism sites using Drupal: cf. H2otown, PhillyFuture, UrbanVancouver, BlufftonToday, and even the original version of Bayosphere. I think it's not only due to the incredible marketing power of the Drupal community but also a testament to Drupal's awesome community features and out of the box "Web 2.0 ready" technology (real group blogs, clean URLs, tagging, RSS, etc.) ]
Here's my (very biased :-) !) notes, tips and links from Monday May 15th's HTCE What "What Citizen Journalism Means to Corporate Communications" panel with Darren, Tod and Kris:
