'Tis Sad But True…

Sitting around and chatting with my friends and colleagues here at Raincity about this next move for me is one thing, but to blog about it, speaking about it in a more public way, makes me feel like one of those folks hitting the retirement stage and announcing to the crowd, after 40 years working for the company, "I have enjoyed my time here, and now, I must move on to the next stage of my life…". This, after all, is true in essence, but is quite cliché.

I have been with Raincity Studios for the better part of a year now, and it just happens to be one of those times in one's life to say: time to move on.

My Lipgloss and Laptops Debut

Blog
created on Thu, 2006-08-17 10:39 MC of Raincity Studios in studio with Lipgloss and Laptops Have A Listen: Lipgloss and Laptops, Episode #25

Friends of Raincity, the lovely ladies of Lipgloss and Laptops, Airdrie and Kerry Anne, kindly invited me into their studio to sit in while they recorded their 25th epsisode. We had a blast, tested some products (with some before, during and after pics), talked about my job at Raincity, our Raincity Pilot, celebrity crushes, goDaddy, naked pictures, and travelling on airplanes without lipgloss (gasp!).

Marketing Champion, aka Agent99

Blog
created on Sun, 2006-04-02 12:34 I am official.

Hey internet folks. My new post as Marketing Champion, aka Agent99, grasshopper guru extraordinaire, has officially commenced at Raincity Studios here in fabulous, sunny Vangroovy. As of today, I have joined the team of Robert Scales, Mark Yuasa and the other lovely gems here at Raincity. My role for the studio falls somewhere and anywhere in the way of marketing, branding and design. I met Scales, kk and bmann (bryght.com) trekking around the lovely city of Torino while working for the CBC at the Olympics. Through much vino, espresso and fine fromaggio, it was decided I jump on board with Raincity. Bring it on - geekery is grand fun.
