The World is Not Flat
Lee needed an attractive theme for his personal travel journal/public travel experience sharing space.
This was one of the first Drupal 4.63 sites we did. In addition to the new functionality present in the latest version of our CMS of choice, there was some cool custom functionality devised by our friends at Bryght. Thanks Colin and Richard!
Also there was an inherent duality in the concept of the site (Lee and Sachi's dispatches from the road, and the public experiences) making for a site that was really two sites in one.
TWINF was a very enjoyable experience. Not only does Lee LeFever (of CommonCraft) have an excellent sense of the Social Software realm, he's a great guy and an ideal client.
Communication was very easy with a cross between Basecamp messages and Skype chats.
The design of the site was an interesting blend of three styles. Erik, myself and Lee's friend Anthony all had parts in what I think think ended up being a very satisfactory design.
Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone.
