One year ago I decided to offer myself a very special birthday gift: I accepted a full-time position with Raincity Studios. The wrapper looked cool, the card was inviting and it sounded good when I shook the box.

Little did I know what was to come when I accepted the offer... We were a crew of six at that time, occupying the cosy 525 Seymour office and working on small and engaging projects. Then talented new team members and soon-to-be-friends joined our gang. Next there was the fruitful Bryght acquisition and, more recently, the opening of the Shanghai office. We are now a family of 27 hard-working, dedicated and fun-loving people, collaborating together on larger exciting projects. It feels like I'm still unwrapping the gift...

Yes indeed, Drupal 6 is almost ready - it just needs a little help from you!

Newbies and Ninjas alike can work together to fix those last little bits. Resources and support will be available to newbies to get started with bug fixing and patch making. There are even issues that non-coders can fix! Everyone can contribute.

created on Mon, 2006-09-11 10:13 Last weekend I was blessed with an amazing opportunity to photograph His Holiness the Dalai Lama. HHDL was in Vancouver for the innoguration of the World Center for Peace and speaking about Cultivating Happiness to a large crowd at GM Place.

Armed with my trusty Canon and some of the lenses I share with my great friend kk, I had the amazing opportunity to snap some pictures during the event.
