However, social networking sites are at least as useful in the business world as for interacting with hobby affinity groups. The China Access site is demonstrative of using the power of a web community to establish international business opportunities through networking and knowledge sharing.

A web application dedicated to the expression of film remixing.
Open Source Cinema (OSC) is a web application dedicated to the expression of film remixing. A novel and emerging art form, the film remix was in need of a site that facilitated its execution. Drawing on remix culture’s free sharing of samples, the site enables users to upload content (images, film or sound) like their own films, YouTube videos, or Flickr images, and have their content remixed or mashed up by others. Users can also remix the work that their peers have previously uploaded to the site.

A powerful online publishing platform for San Francisco's leading arts, culture and lifestyle magazine
Since it's launch in 2000, 7x7 has established itself as San Francisco's premiere lifestyle magazine, highlighting the best the city has to offer for food, nightlight, arts, fashion and design. While 7x7's print magazine has built a strong readership, featuring profiles of local movers and shakers and mapping out San Francisco's ever changing social scene, publisher Hartle Media wanted transform their website into a vibrant online community.

The Beijinger
An online community serving expatriates living in Beijing
In 2008, Beijing was onstage to the world during the Summer Olympic Games. Even before the games, China's growth as an player in the global economy had become overwhelmingly apparent and along with it had came an influx of foreign workers to cities like Beijing. As a result, Beijing is suddenly home to a large and vibrant community of expatriates and and our client, True Run Media, was hoping to better engage this community online.
