China Access 2008
China Access
International community of business leaders sharing oppotunities in China

Web communities often seem geared for leisure time activities rather than "getting stuff done" in the business realm. However, social networking sites are at least as useful in the business world as for interacting with hobby affinity groups. The China Access site is demonstrative of using the power of a web community to establish international business opportunities through networking and knowledge sharing.
Beginning the journey with the single step of planning a comprehensive web strategy, Raincity Studios worked tightly with China Access 2008 to create this economic legacy project to catalyze economic activity surrounding and following the 2008 Beijing Summer Games. The big picture behind the project is expanding the public profile of China's economic capabilities by promoting events, facilitating partnerships, and providing strategic advice for both Chinese businesses and Western companies.
To effectuate the site's success, Raincity Studios went beyond development and nurtured the burgeoning community with training, support and hosting services. Seeking to explore China's compelling history and vast potential, CEO Robert Scales is a frequent participant in the China Access events on both sides of the Pacific.
