SHDUG Meetup, March 15, 2008Last Saturday offered one of those long waited sunny afternoons here in Shanghai, but we still found a way to preserve our CRT tan. Last March 15 was our third SHDUG meet-up and we managed to share with more than 30 people our interest in Drupal at Yomovo's office, thanks to our host Mr. Gao Hong.

This session was a bit more technical than the last one; I and my PHP-boosted Chinese colleagues, Xiong and Makara, covered basic principles of Drupal, nodes and taxonomy, the almighty CCK & Views couple and theming. Add a bit of marketing, a few study cases and a bit of technical chats between our presentations and you've got it. Thanks to our student friends from the Hangzhou Dianzi University (杭州电子科技大学) as well as the Tripgarden's folks: we hope to see you soon.

You will find below the slides we've used for this presentation. We will be back next month with a DrupalCamp (the Drupal version of a Barcamp), we haven't decided yet what exactly will go into this event but we would love to hear from you and what you expect us to talk about. Anybody willing to make a presentation can drop us a line, we'll be happy to add you to the schedule. We'll keep you informed here and on the Shanghai Drupal Group page.

See you at our next geek-out!
