Raincity Studios' Vancouver team is working decentralized today as much of Vancouver's downtown core is still without power since an underground utility explosion yesterday (July 14th) afternoon near Richards and Pender/Dunsmuir St.

Despite the diligent efforts of the utility workers, power remains out at the office so the team are working from cafes and homes until restored.

As such, your calls may go unanswered but we are available to assist you via email or other contact methods.

This outage has no effect on web servers or other services so we anticipate no problems beyond larger than usual coffee bills.

最近公司准备尝试使用Drupal单元测试工具用来辅助QA和debug, 我对这方便也挺感兴趣,所以就主动要求加入了这个项目--测试相关工具. 以前虽然用过PHP的单元测试工具,但是那时候需求不多,也就没有太深入了解她, 正好借这次机会好好补一下相关知识.

什么是单元测试

单元测试是开发者编写的一小段代码，用于检验被测代码的一个很小的、很明确的功能是否正确。通常而言，一个单元测试是用于判断某个特定条件（或者场景）下某个特定函数的行为。例如，你可能把一个很大的值放入一个有序list 中去，然后确认该值出现在list 的尾部。或者，你可能会从字符串中删除匹配某种模式的字符，然后确认字符串确实不再包含这些字符了。
    单元测试是由程序员自己来完成，最终受益的也是程序员自己。可以这么说，程序员有责任编写功能代码，同时也就有责任为自己的代码编写单元测试。执行单元测试，就是为了证明这段代码的行为和我们期望的一致。

Update on jQuery Update

First off, a slightly overdue update: jQuery Update module for Drupal 5 has been released with jQuery 1.2.6 (the current version!). Thanks to all who took the reigns on that one, especially Steve McKenzie, who took on co-maintainership, and sun, who pushed this rc1 release. I believe all known bugs that the new jQuery caused in core js files, such as upload.js, collapse.js and others, have been totally ironed out but of course jQuery-enhanced contrib modules are another matter entirely. I found out the hard way that the upgrade to 1.2.6 totally breaks TinyMCE which unfortunately is a module that is not receiving much love these days from its maintainer. Not to get too far off-topic but there is a new WYSIWYG controller and API/framework module called Wysiwig being developed by sun and quicksketch, the goal of which is "to provide generic hooks to implement contrib module plugins with content editors", so it sounds like TinyMCE module's days are numbered anyway.
