A request to my fellow attendees at the Gnomedex conference: please help me make a disinfomercial. I'll be touring around with a digital video camera, looking for people to record short clips. I'm just looking for people willing to let me record them saying short funny things like "Raincity? Never heard of em" or "I heard those guys scam credit cards from grandmothers".

We guys at Raincity wanted a way to give a friendly hello to the web community while also showing that even if we're passionate about our work, we don't take ourselves too seriously. Lord knows there are enough pretentious creative, technology and business people - so what better way to show what we're really like than to make fun of ourselves? We started this joke about a fake infomercial like the Beastie Boys did for their album Hello Nasty and the more we laughed the more we thought we might be able to make other people laugh.

So if you see me with the camera, please don't be shy.
